REMEMBERING 9/11 - TEN YEARS LATER

Today marks the ten year anniversary that life in America, as we knew it, changed.  Every year on 9/11, I watch a video of what happened that fateful day to remind me of why we had to go to war to fight these terrorists. I know a lot of people are against the war, but President Bush could not stand back and let these terrorists get away with this horrible act of violence, in which so many people lost their lives. President Bush had a big decision to make that day just like President Roosevelt did when Japan attacked Pearl Harbor. That is a lot of pressure for one man to take on, and I believe he did what he thought was best for America.

So as you watch this video, please remember this day and pray for the families of those individuals who lost their lives and be reminded of why we are at war against these terrorists.

The following pictures were taken by Richard Drew

today, please take time to say a prayer for the families of the 3,000 who died on 9/11.

Crazy! Just Crazy! I still am just dumbfounded and astounded whenever I watch that footage. Absoltely incredible. I do kinda the same thing every year, and ball every time. I think it's a good way not to forget what we are fighting for, why we are fighting, and why we must continue fighting. And to honor those whose lives were lost-bc when you watch that u have to take a step back and appreciate what you have and how blessed you are, and be thankful for every day--and that it how you honor the fallen. New to SITS. Congrats on your SITS day!

It feels like yesterday for many of us who are from New York. We lost so many people from Long Island in those towers.
I don't think any of us will forget, we just have to remember to teach the next generation about this day and why we need to start to make some major changes in the world.
Thanks for your post, I'm visiting from VoiceBoks today.
